FACES

Faces in everyday life,
A woman in my bus
So grumpy, shielded by a skin so red
With frozen muscles
Faces in everyday life
If you ever looked closer to view the rhyme
If you ever interfered time
You will understand
The tears she’s holding
The red grief she’d buried
In her thin yellow layer of sand

Faces in everyday life
A stranger was crossing the road
Right beside me
I liked his perfume
We all continued the motion of the streets
If you ever looked closer to view the rhyme
If you ever interfered time
You will understand
The long friendship that ended
Because it was socially banned

Faces in everyday life
Two persons or two cocks
Fighting in a damp cage
People surrounding,
The fire “HURRAY!” they wage
If you ever looked closer to view the rhyme
If you ever interfered time
You will understand
The money under the unseated seats
The love to live under the shadow of a band

Faces in everyday life
Actors on stage
Performing a play
“Beautiful art”, you say.
“Clap! Clap! Clap!” the classic cheers!
If you ever looked closer to view the rhyme
If you ever interfered time
You will understand
The scattered Actions following the words flow
Written, by one different man
The art of shams is clear, is real
Only in his mind
Only written by his hand

Faces wandering down the alleys
Faces encounter as I pass by the building valleys
Faces sending metaphoric forces
Faces appear in determined courses
Faces speaking in the name of chess
Faces, simulated traces of a mess

Faces, in their curves lay a ghost of myself
Faces, I collect
Whether love, regret or object
And place them with care,
On my long_ long shelf

wow.. i think this is the story of daily life:

Faces wandering down the alleys
Faces encounter as I pass by the building valleys
Faces sending metaphoric forces
Faces appear in determined courses
Faces speaking in the name of chess
Faces, simulated traces of a mess

i am growing more fond of ur artistic beauty ;) even though i don't seem to decipher ur poetry all the time.. but i can handle architecture and photography ;) i tink i have a focused vision of the visual arts ;) but me admire ur all around artistic beauty and expression :)

HEY MAYOR!

after reading it again to see your point, well yes i do ended with rather a genuin idea of an "everyday life" i suppose..

i do like visual art more than the "sub-visual" poetry :D but i like to use it to challenge my imagination!

i like the "all around" thing :P

and simper, don't think that i forgot your request about the architectural post, it's_ on the list :)

and thank you for a comment so dense with "beauty" :)

WOW A VERY PRECISE PHOTO!

I LOVE IT!
(saying to myself:"exactly!")

:D
well i love everyday life, infact i see more art in it than extraordinary days and events!

and the faces are the most important encounter for the self, i think they're the most interesting art pieces!
they are changing by themselves(expressions) and they're moving with the movement of the body, so they're activated in many levels of speed!
they vary in color, and they change color!
faces faces faces :D
well, i'll tell you a little secret.. it's a starting step for a project i have in mind, but i think it will take time until i begin with it!

The Simper:
Thank you :)

wow... this one is something else, when I read it.. it seems to me that its more related to you.. the architect lost in a big architectual world... she can design anything - everything... but it'll just be another building in the valley of buildings...

its also as if the poem was about an architect that wants to understand the design of human nature... human behavior... human interactivity with society... but cant cuz of it's intense complexity... amazing =)

more great poems please ^_^

aah!
well everything i write have an architectural reflection. but i think that i am more drawn into the cenimatic logic of buildings..
that's why i see movement instead of the static walls!

here is a book for you to read:
The Fountain Head,By Ayn Rand
