Question:

What is the difference between information and knowledge?

ummmm information is something people seek (which means they dont exactly have it).... and when people get the information they need.. it becomes knowledge.

so information is something you dont have and need.

and knowledge is information that you already have.

meh... my head hurts now xD

in the dictionary it says:
information:1. knowledge communicated or received concerning a particular fact or circumstance.

knowledge:the fact or state of knowing; the perception of fact or truth; clear and certain mental apprehension.

i guess your right it is weird coz i read a comment about a book that says:"lots of information with less knowledge"

wow! what do we call that a delayed in common ;)

but i still have doubts about the change between info. and know because sometimes things remain as information as it has lots of possibilities for being the knowledge like for example the base of a theory.. it is hyper active and adaptive to all what happens next ...
